Help Me ... One of My Characters Died !!!

    [​IMG] I'm playing in novice difficulity and one of my charecters died !!!
    What can I do ????
    HELP !

    anyway, where in the game are you? if you are in the town, go to the town part and into the temple tent. talk to a priest (guy in armour) and buy the raise dead thing.

    what sort of party do you have?

    I'm in chapter one, in the bridge with the orcs... :cry:
    My aasimer cleric died, I have a Tiefling Rouge, a Shield Dwarf Paladin (!) drow wizard, Wood elven Ranger, half orc barbarian.

    and yes, I'm a newbie, so ??

    Sorcerers isn't like other boards, where everyone flames the newbie.

    But unless we know how expereienced (or in your case, un-experienced), then we might not go into as much detail as you need.

    Your human cleric is going to have to be taken to a temple. Your will have to return to Targos. There is a temple in the main Targos section; the one that has Lord Ulbric.

    You will be able to select "resurrection" or "raise dead". Resurrection brings them back to life, fully healed. Raise Dead brings them back, but with only ONE hit point left. You will need some healing spells after "Raise Dead", before you do anything with that character.

    If your dead party member was an elf, you will need the spell "Resurrection". For an elf, only "Resurrection" will work. If your human cleric has a scroll of "Resurrection" or the spell memorized, then you could use that. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until you get to a temple.

    If you have enough potions and stuff, you can clear the bridge without your cleric.

    One thing not mentioned by the others is that you can just restore to the last saved game you have and replay that part again.

    I hate it when characters die. I usually end up having to reload an earlier save. Sadly enough, as of late, my resurrection spells haven't been working. Don't worry though, the game auto-saved right before you went to the bridge, so you can load up that save and try again.
