    Alright what im about to tell you people will change your perspective on viewing AD&D and the game IWD2

    ``````READ AT YOUR OWN RISK``````
    I made a unstopable character and here is how you make it ( this took 2 hours of my time to think of)
    Requirements
    - a level 5 cleric or higher
    - all level 1 spells are sanctuary and are memoried
    - all lvl 2 spells are summon monster spells
    - and all lvl 3 spells are animate dead
    - must have alot of ranks on hide if you playin 3rd edition
    - must have wisdom score higher than 16
    How the character is unstopable:
    - If the character is traveling solo, the character is the most strong
    because if the character's alignment is of good, he/she would not have the same conscience of roleplaying and mindframe
    if she would have constant other pc characters being slain by her gate spells or by ennemies
    therefore by traveling solo
    the character's mind is strenthened and no-one else will die who is her friend because she would be accompanied by no-one
    - the cleric can be of any alignment , even evil. animate dead would be the strongerst spell in iwd1 and 2 as the spell gets stronger as she lvls up
    after the cleric casts all her animate spells prior to combat,these are the steps for combat:
    round 1 : immeadiately cast sanctuary
    round 2 order undead to attack ur enemies
    round 3 : use hide skill when the ennemies attack your minions and make a hide check whenever the DM or the game lets you ( Usually out of the line of sight of ennemies)
    - But BEWARE, iN iwd 2 if you leave the sight of combat, monsters will immeadiately swarm you and youR undead stop attacking
    so quickly use hide or cast another sanctuary on urself
    If the character gets hit before being able to cast sanctuary or a ennemy priest or mage sucessfully dispels your spell then immeadiatly cast sanctuary again.
    NOW FOR WHEN YOU PLAY AD&D OFF THE COMPUTER
    If your character is a high level and the dm is a idiot,
    make a spell similar to Permanency except it is a lvl 9 spell and name it Elevated Permanency or any name u see fit but it can only be cast once (such as casting it off a scroll) What it does is this:
    If you cast any lvl 1 spell and then follow it up with a Elevated permanency spell then the lvl 1 spell that you cast will have a permanent effect.
    Example: If you cast remove fear as your lvl 1 spell, then you will immune to fear and your other party members will be immune sinceyou will now have a aura of fear immunity ( kinda like a lvl 4 paladin in iwd2)
    Now to make your character INVINSIBLE simplay do this: before you cast Elevated Permanency, cast sanctuary. You will be UNSTOPABLE even if ennemies try to dispel it, they can temporary dispel it but since it's permanent, you will always have it. and therefore you can disrupt the spell and do what you want not woryyiong about sanctuary leaving you
    now since that seems kinda unfair i made only 1 way to get rid of it. This si what u should do : if the ennemy tries to dispel it, they can't unless they have a wisdom score or inteligence score of at least 20 and the person with elevated Permanency will get a saving throw.
    Now this is how the saving throw willbe calculated: You can calculate it by subtracting the level of the caster by the lvl of the ennemy and wisdom scores subtracted from each other.
    With a starting Dc of 18
    hehe that's all
    [IMG] The Alternate Way to make an Unstopable character:
    Near Infinity: Copy Item: Rename copy of item, Add Effect: Aegis- While Item is Equipped.
    Add Effect: Regeneration: 150hp Per Round. - While Equiped
    Add Effect: Haste- While Equiped
    Add Effect: Improved Invisibility- While Equipped.
    But Item On Character of Choice.
    Ta da.. ^_^
    Personally though.. I find just playing the game a bit more fun.. :D
