stuck in the ice palace

    i tried it on my own. i went through the walkthrough. but i can not get that last door on the second level open. i pointed the prism to the north, and i shifted the mirror to the west (left). is there something else i am forgetting?

    yes i shot the prism. i even posted one of my characters outside the door so i could see the bolt go bouncing past. i just ran around the level again. the door i can not get opened bears the legend "EMBRACE THE SHADOW". im starting to think that this is not even the right door and i missed something else previously.

    you need to use the painting to teleport into the room, there will be a shodow there. touch it with a character and you can open the door. then use the cannon to open the door to the next room.

    yeah i entered the level the wrong way. i finally went back to the painting and started experementing. at one point, i ended up back by oswalds airship before i got it right.
