[IMG] During the character creation process, on the last step where you name your character, the keyboard becomes unresponsive to any keys pressed. The game doesn't lock up and I can still mouse my way through the menus. Anything like this ever come across before? I have searched through the forum and didn't find anything similar. Thanks.

Do you have a relativelly new keyboard ? with USB ? some games might have problems with that, but i thought IWD2 was new enough not to suffer from those problems.

[IMG] I am trying to play it on a new Dell Laptop, an Inspirion 600m. I am not using any external keyboards, but I am using an USB mouse. All is okay if I use a pre-made party and play, but anything that requires a keyboard causes an issue. I will continue to experiment on solutions. If I discover it, I will post it here for all. Thanks!

    *Update*
I was forced to rebuild the laptop over the weekend. The only difference between it now and last week is that I have Norton AV instead of the McAfee AV and I did not install the Synaptics Mouse Driver. ID2 worked fine. I will patch it next and test.
