Just made a new group some weeks ago.

Cleric of Lathander: Male: Human lvl 7
    Fighter: Male: Halforc lvl7
    Fighter: Male:Gold dwarf Lvl7
    Ranger:Female:Moon elf lvl 7
Roghue:Female:Dro elf. lvl 3. lvl 3 fighter aswell
    Wizard: Femal:Tiefling: Lvl 7

What do you think of my party? The cleric and fighters goes forward. Half orc is first tank and the dwarf second tank. The ranger is more a battler then sneaker and such, but rather good wilderness lore. The rogue I wanted to multi class so she could take more damage and get more Attack bonus and Feats.

Should I multiclass her to Wizard aswell?

Should I change some one else?

The cleric uses hammers plus shield

The fighter half orc uses large blade/bastards sword plus shield

The dwarf uses axes (duel weilding) and crossbow

The ranger uses bows and polearms

The drow uses Bow and small blade's

The tiefling wizards uses sling and rod (got from goblin in beginging) Should I give here armor?

Should the ranger have heavier armour then leather?

Should Theif have heavier armour then leather? I myself say no since a dex bouns of plus 5 goes away.

Multiclassing in IWD2 tends to weaken the PC's. A few levels in strategic areas is great, but a lot of multiclassing can be a problem -- especially when none of the classes are favored classes (drow female is cleric is believe). I wouldn't add wizard to your drow.

You have a very melee heavy group there, which isn't bad -- you may have a challenging end game there. You didn't say where you were in the game (I think I was just past the Ice Palace at 7th level) -- you may not gain enough levels to get the high end spells changing anyone now.

I tended to keep my rogue in leather, rangers lose the two weapon fighting in heavier armor (that's too much of a sacrifice for me), and I never put my wizard in any armor.

My party was a lot of fun:
    Elven Female Sorcerer
    Human Male Wizard
Human Female Fighter (with one level of Paladin)
Human Female Rogue (with one level of Ranger)
Half-Orc Male Battleguard of Tempus (with one level of Barbarian)
    Tiefling Female Monk

I would give your drow one more fighter level and then multiclass to cleric (if you have high WIS).

The wizard would be a great choice but as your drow is female you will get a 20% EXP penalty for doing this!

I would think about multiclassing your tiefling to wizard!

btw. the most powerfull builds in IWD2 are MC !!!

If your Lathandrite's alignment is LG, you could give him 3 Paladin Levels before continuing with the cleric levels. 2 fighter levels will give you access to all weapons and 2 extra feats.

If your HalfOrc is NOT Lawful you could concentrate on giving him Barbarian levels after Fighter[8] onwards. Did you take the 'Exotic Weapon: Bastard Sword' feat?

Dual-weilding Dwarf fighter? You spent all those feats on this? I generally prefer a Dwarf with Con maxed out using axe and sheild.

You should have stopped at Ranger[5]. Are you gonna multi to Sorcerer? If she takes fighter levels and wears plate, she can no longer automatically enjoy the feats 'Ambidexterity' and 'Two Weapon Fighting'.

Give the Drow Cleric levels. Does she have high Dex for 'Weapon Finesse' while using small blades? If her Str score is higher than Dex, she is better off using maces or polearms.

The Thief/Mage should wear light to no armor. You dont want spell failure to kill you.

Well, Im in the aurilite village just outside the ice fortress area (many fortresses)

I managed to get my way through with my Lathander priest high diplomacy, should I roleplay or kick there asses?

    Can I steal the belladona?

My drow got 19 in dex, Here wis is about 12-14, should I still make here cleric?

My Ranger dont have a large int I think

My cleric wasnt LG I think, but my fighter half-orc can become an barbarian I think

and the tiefling is already a wizard. should I make here some lvl of theif? since its the favored class

or maybe the dwarf can change back to axe and shield. since I dont think I got ambidrexty thingy feat yet, but if I have I stay with to weapons

And im going for the bastard feat since this blade rules! +4d6 of ice damage. Downloaded a mod with lost items which got thrown out or left out

I think the belladona became unpickable after the patch. So you will have to get rid of them.

If you invest the rest of your level-up stat points into Wis, the Drow can still become a capable spell caster. But thats not the best is it? How do you intend to play her tho? High Dex finessed stalker type? A level 10 Rouge will get access to some great feats for that type.

The Wizard gets so many skill points and there are not many skills he needs. Rouge skills become available to you without taking Rouge levels. Still an L30 Wiz doesnt have a whole lot of spells more than an L28, so . . .

If you are dual-weilding without the ambidexterity and two weapon fighting feats and one weapon is not a small blade, you get attack bonuses of -10 and -6.

    SPOILER:

if you can choose a dreadmaster for your drow (depends on the allignement of her) you should get +2 WIS at Kuldahar, together with the stat points and some items she should get enough WIS for level 8 spells (level 9 are crappy)!

And as long as you concentrate on the divine self-buffing spells that's more then enough...

...but I would give the +5 ring and the +2 potion to your main cleric for a high WIS-bonus to increase the DC rate of his spells!

For your Drow, if you multiclass her to Wizard, then all three of her classes must remain w/ 1 level or you'll get an xp penalty. If I were you, I would bump her up another Fighter and squat her 3 levels for Cleric and continue down that path. Otherwise, you'll have to keep your Fighter and Rogue levels within 1 so you're looking at Fighter 15/Rogue 15 unless you want to deal with the xp penalty and in a 6 person party, that's going to hurt.

Although you probably don't want to start over, one of my favorite characters that I built was a Rogue 2/Ranger 1/Fighter 2/Wizard 25. No armor and dual-wielded short swords. He was quite capable of holding his own in melee but also used a bow when not throwing fireballs around. However, having a member who is heavily multiclassed, you really should run in a smaller party.

The party is good as it is, so far as classes go. I so no reason at all to multiclass anyone (any further).

About Barbarian levels. No point in your case. Your Fighters are already too far into the Fighter class. They won't make good Barbarians. Fighter/Barbarians work for Fighter(4)/Barbarian(x) builds.

About Monk levels. No point unless your WIS bonus is higher than the bonus you can get from wearing armour.

Now, on to your characters. The Rogue needs to keep the fifty fifty division in order to avoid XP penalty. Specialise in short blades (I assume that's what you use and you already have the Finesse feat) and take Rapid Shot unless you have more useful feats yet to take.

If the Ranger uses polearms, Cleave might come handy. Also, Rapid Shot looks handy.

For the dwarf, I suggest axe & shield or, better still, two-handed axe and Cleave. Dual-wielding lowers your attack bonus considerably if you aren't using a light weapon in your off-hand and axes aren't light weapons.

For the half-orc, I suggest two-handed swords and Cleave.

As for armour, it depends on your situation. Armoured Arcana is a waste. Even taking armour allowance feats can be a waste. Taking both armour allowance and Armoured Arcana feats most definitely is a waste. For multi-classed wizards, armour might be useful when they run out of spells, if they feel powerful enough to enter melee or simply for increased protection if no spells are to be cast. The latter variant doesn't even require armour proficiencies, as you're always allowed to wear any armour, you just take penalties. So if you aren't going to use that character for anything, you might as well clad him/her in massive armour. Who cares.

About weapons. Two-handed weapons take 1.5 times your STR modifier. With 18 STR, this is a difference of +2 to hit (+4 and +6 respectively). Not sure about damage on this one... With greater attack range (and two-handed weapons have greater attack range than one-handed weapons), Cleave becomes even more useful.

    @ vassago

thought about adding a barb level ?

the increased speed is quite worth a level !

    I use quite a similar MC-build:

    rogue 3 - fighter 4 - barb 3 - wizard 20

...really awesome in melee - and more then 20 wizard level don't give that much benefit from my point of view.

Well, I got the Rapid shot feat on Drow and Ranger, They both uses bows but in melee they use Small blade's and polearms (ranger then)

With the dwarf I might to take the cleave and give him a nice shield!

Got one nice +6 in armor class or simular,

And About the orc I might give him the barb class one or two lvl!

And about the Drow elf, she got 10 in wisdom...And I got one potion of -2 in con plus +1 in wis. is this really worth it? But I can always give here the ring plus 5 wis

Cause I love charachters who can do a little of all, fight/throw spells/Steal

Barbarians top out at L20. So there is no reason that the halforc cant take those levels.
Of course he aint gonna get there in the Normal game. But, 1D12 HP, greater speed, 'Heroic Inspiration' and Barbarian Rages stringed together all come very useful. After all, there are not many feats a grunt needs.

Taking a monk level for his AC bonus is useless unless you have very high Dex and Wis.
Though, I dont see anyone having proposed any such mixin before Chev.

If you prefer to concentrate more on sneaking and melee combat, equal rouge/fighter levels may be the ticket.
However Drow Fighter[4]/Rouge[3]/Dreadmaster of Bane[x] sounds great. Do NOT give her the +1Wis, -2Con potion. Just sell them. Later on you can win a potion which gives +2Wis, -1Dex. Both enjoy the same BAB and the later gets Cleric spells in advance. The sneaking part might be affected tho.

Choose any of your melee charecters who can get to the highest AC and give that one a Sword & Sheild.
High Str charecters should use two-handed weapons. Chev, you are wrong. Using two handed weapons gives you Str*1.5 bonus to damage, attack bonus remains Str*1 only.

Cleave is good. Greater Cleave, not so.

When you next level up, try it. Every priest school will allow only a few alignments. So you will see a list of Cleric schools you can take.

IIRC MorningLords of Lathander may be LG, NG, CG and TN only.
