Well, there is far too many different multi classing options to place this in a Poll, so i thought that i would open a thread for everyones oppinion. Everyone is entitled to one. Especially mine. ;)

    Anyway, have Fun.
    Cheers.

I reckon rogue/ranger is a very good and useful combo. I have yet to try triple classes, they seem far too weak for me.

I dont know. Ive always wanted something like a sorc/wiz/fighter. Just as an idea. But your right. Too weak. The levels wouldnt go up fast enough.

    Anyway,
    Cheers.

My personal favourite (right now, anyway) is the Wizard-Paladin. My current party's Wizard started life as a Paladin of Mystra, and has since been multiclassed into a Wizard. Every so often I give him another level of Paladin, just to keep him in fighting trim.

My current favorite is a fighter/barbarian with Strength 24 and Constitution 20. She is not too bright or charismatic, but she can deal some massive damage!

    kill!!!!

    My personal favourite is Rogue/Wizard.

Intelligence enhances both spellcasting, and intelligence skill checks, and skill points.

Dexterity, combined with Weapon Finesse feat, simultaneously improves both Armor Class and attack bonus while in the Chain of Drakkas.

Expertise feat works really well for this combo.

Since I already have a single class Wizard in the party, the slower advancement as a Wizard is negligible. He provides some additional spellcasting power when its needed.

Brilliant Short Sword +5 makes him a deadly surprise attacker. This is augmented even further by spells like Stoneskin, Mirror Image, and especially Improved Invisibility.

[IMG] All the way, rouge\wizard is one of my favorite classes too.How much rouge levels?I just made a fighter 4/thief 3/wizard X level character and it seems to be wery good spell sword. :D :D :D

Another one is rouge 3or5\fighter 4\barbarian X level.Fighting with great\bastard swords and has killed 3\4 of all spellcasters till now - just sneak and power attack for something like 30-35 damage. Then second hit and target gone haha....

Quint just proposed another who I'm willing to try in my next party - paladin 1\monk 1\sorcerer X - just brutal saves and spellcasting with evasion.

And last but not least - a bard 11\sorcerer X is simply casting mashine - he never runs ot of spells it seems.Lacks some 9 lvl spells at the other hand..... But he's a better healer than my cleric - many healing spells and lvl 11 bard song gives brutal regeneration. My party allways gets fully healed after battle  Ok OK OK FAST allways :D  :D

PS:Forgot to say - all of them are humans only paladins are assimilar. All but the wizard have int. 3 and being a normal human counters this - still 2 skill points per lvl.

Mine's definitely got to be Rouge/Ranger. I always start him out as a rouge so that I can get the avatar with the hood. I think that the generic "fighter" - class of avatars are just to common. And of course, the picture I always use is that halfling witha green hood and wielding dual daggers. *grin*

Asthetics aside, even though my rouge may lag in the Wisdom needed to cast ranger spells, I normally have the ranger class in for the extra damage that he can deal, and also, he is the only character in my party that can cast the more "natural" kinda spells.

    fighter/barbarian are very powerful (especially a min-maxed half-orc :)).

I just started a rogue/ranger - It would have helped if I had multiclassed before reaching lvl11 rogue as he now has a -20% xp modifier but with the brilliant sword +5 he should make a very good dual wielder as well as a brilliant scout.

I guess you want the Wis bonus to AC from the Monk?
So, how would you assign the attributes? Like this perhaps:
    Str 6, Dex 18, Con 10, Int 6, Wis 18, Cha 18
I'm not happy with Con 10.

    I love multiclassing.

    My current party consists of...

    Aasimar Paladin/Cleric (Illmater both)
Dwarven Figther (maybe rogue levels later)
Halfling Rogue/Figther (getting Illusionist as well later)
Wild Elf Figther/Sorcerer (archer and summoner)
    Half Orc Druid/Barbarian
Tiefling Evoker (only one I'm not going to multiclass since he's got a ECL)

None of them lost all that much; the aasimar is now far better than she was just a level ago at pal 3 before she got a cleric level, the halfling is nasty with those two daggers of his (guess what picture I'm using... and the sounds are of course the one done by Mark Hamill), that druid turned bad once she got a barbarian level and Dash and a +1 scimitar, and the wild elf archer got attacks +9/+9 with rapid shot on at level 2/2, wears leather armor and got one armored arcana and constantly summons beetles and goblins to keep foes away from her (got a con of 10 so she's a bit behind... should have lowered her Str). Add that to the wiz casting bull's strength on my Dwarf of Death and making his Str score 22 or so, and I got a fairly nasty 4th level party... at least for having played for only a couple of days.

i'll love a rouge/wizard/ranger character. i'll just give my first level rouge one level wizard, all the way rouge again till level 10, inserting the one level ranger somewhere btw. After that, its 2lvl wizard, 1lvl rouge all the way.
The one lvl ranger gives its the two hand fighting feats And ambidexterity, thats two feats i.e only equalled by six level of rouge,(or isit four?). :D

Nope man nothing like that - besides why int. 6?For human is the same int. 3 or int. 8 he allways gets 2 skill pionts per level. And why str 6?10 at least.Don't wanna have the monk's wisdom bonus because when wearing robe or something it's useless.Wis to 10.So something like that:Str 10, Dex 18, Con 18, Int 3, Wis 9 up to 10 someday, Cha 18.Still thinking abot wisdom I guess since he's got good saves -1 to will is not such a bad idea so i'll leave wis to 8 and spend 1 point on str.
