    [IMG] Hi.
I have some questions regarding cleric domains. I have played the Forgotten Realms as PnP. There they have a lot more deities, than the 9 we can choose from. I have downloaded the mod with the racial deities, and tried a couple of them. However, there are other deities I would like to try in the game.
So my questions are as follows:
Are there mod-packs out there containing other deities?
If not, where can one learn to make one's own mod-packs? I have looked at the .2da-fiels, and some I understand, but most of it is gobeldygook to me.
Thirdly, can one alternately use DaleKeeper2 to edit special abilities/domain-spells?
    Halstein.

I seem to remember another one that modified cleric domains, but I couldn't see it after a brief search. I've never modded, so I'm not help with advising you there.

Yes there is the one that adds, Grummsh, Lloth, Corellan and a few others if I'm correct.

    Hi,
After working a long time trying to figure out what the .2da files meant, I looked at some of the others, and then found out what to do.
What I have to do is edit the Setup-IWD2-clerics-1d3.2tp. Poepole who look at this one will soon understand what stuff means, after looking at the 2da files a bit. And then one only have to change stuff acoprding to the deity. What I have left figuring out, is how to fix domainspells.

That would be the racial domains that he referred to in the original post.

Is the new cleric domains mod balanced or are they overpowered?

I think the 9 deities Black Isle chose for IWD2 are enough. They are ment to balance the game, the same way they do in BG2: a good, an evil and a neutral god. I think three would suffice even in IWD2.

aidan eeldrein: Problem arises when you got a bunch of Roleplayers, that want to recreate all kinda characters they have played with in their RPG sessions, with different gods :)

I sure know i would love to mod a bit on the domains so i could recreate my priestes of Eldath, my gnome priest of Gond, My paladin/priest of Tyr etc. Of corse there are "similar" gods avilable. Gond and Oghma for example, and Ilmater and Tyr and so on. but it just isn't the same!

I have made a mod, but not tried to play it yet. Only made a mod for Eilistraee. So I can have a drow priestess that is good, and with a sensible deity.
Also more gods makes it closer to real D&D. And the game gets a higher re-playability.

I cannot argue with you about that. Actually, I tried some mods and I think they are pretty cool...

I have begun playing now, and the mod does not unbalance the game in my opinion. But then, some of the pre-packed domains are more powerfull than my mod. My main problem, is that I don't get Eagle's Splendor as a 1/day ability. I get 2 extra turn undead instead, but don't use that ability much.
