    [IMG] "Duration: 10 rounds/level"

level ? - what level is used for multiclassed chars ? ECL penalties ?!

    "Duration: 1 minute / level"

    "Duration: 8 hours"

    "Duration: 10 minutes/level"

    "Duration: 1 day"

It seems like adding apples with forks ..

... is there a guide somewhere clearly stating durations in an unified measuring unit ? ...

I mean i read spell'x description -> whoaaa what a spell - i choose it for my sorccer only to find out expires in a blink or two. Other spell i deemed less usefull might have been better if it actualy have long duration....

    round - 7 real time seconds ?
the minutes and hours listed on spell durations are real time or ingame time ? How long does an ingame minute take in realtime ?!!

x per level generally refers to the caster levels ONLY. So, the levels applied to a sorcerer spell cast by a paladin 3/sorcerer 5 would (in almost all cases) at the 5th level for that character.

Round = 6 real time seconds (IIRC)

Minutes, I believe, refers to real-time minutes, but hours are in-game hours...I think.

Acrux is, I believe, correct and summed it up pretty well.

Sometimes the in-game or manual descriptions are wrong. For example:

    Eagle's splendor lasts 1 hour/level
Creepig doom lasts shorter than animal summoning.
Barkskin lasts as long as described in the manual, the in-game desciption is wrong.
