    Hmm, I'm pretty sure I've never heard of a Bard / Druid before. Sounds interesting. The strain on ability scores will be pretty extreme. What race is this character? he'll have to be human to avoid any multiclassing XP penalties

    Im currently playing a Female Drow Bard[11] /Druid[x]. 10-12-8-16-18-16 with Lingering Song as her first feat.
    She will get to the frontline only when shapeshifted. Else its darts and spells and song only.

    XP penalties can be avoided by level squatting.
    Alternate between Bard and the second class till you get to Bard[11]/whatever[12]. Then squat all the way.

    @Terthe,
    In regards to armoring your Bard, armor only allows you to add a certain amount of additional AC from DEX. The heavy the armor, the less DEX bonus you get. Yes, you will need to stick to leather armor in order to cast spells w/o chance of penalty. This also means that your Sorceror will need to work robes (no arcane spell failure) and thus it would be wise to have his/her DEX maxed out. As far as skills go, all characters have skills that they can obtain using 1 skill point. However, a character will not obtain a skill without putting at least one point in it. There are some exceptions to this based on race and class, but you would have to view the abilities that they get for that information.
