ok if I kill him who will object?? I've only killed him once and it was Mazzy that flipped, and attacked me I now have in my party:

Me --> Ranger
Keldorn
Anomen
Jaheira
Nalia
Yoshimo

I think i'll boot Yoshimo out till I kill Valygar

 

Maybe part of the reason Mazzy flips out is because she is lawful good. It could also be that .........

During the course of adventuring, Mazzy takes a liking to Valygar and makes him her "squire". The dialogues are kind of funny on both sides.

Nothing gave me greater pleasure, however, than just killing him. One less angst-ridden, woe-is-me-and-my-family character to worry about.

If you bring Valygar to that idiot self-confident office-worm mage, Valygar starts to complain and he is surprised, but IIRC you cannot hand him over to the Cowled guy. After the dialog the guy (what was his name?!) goes away angrily.
After this, you will meet him as normally in Planar Sphere (in the company of his summoner lackeys)

Well, in case of knowlegde, I confused him a bit with that corrupt fool (do not remember his name either) who you bribe for that casting license.
That guy is really stupid (under level 9) despite of his position (typical government officer). Tolgerias can use Power Word, Kill, so he is an experienced wizard.
