Any cleric who can heal you can also resurrect your party members. Scroll down to the end of the list of services. IIRC the clerics in the Pavilion temple in Targos had a resurrection scroll for sale.

Chapter 3, the wandering village? You should have a resurrection scroll as loot from the Ice Temple already. Check again.

7th level in Chaper 3 !!! That gotta be a joke

Where and why are you stuck?

In the Wandering Village Venla the Healer should be able to provide ressurection. If not then there is a Dryad in Fell Wood that also provides healing (at least i think so).

Shrikant-Y is 7th in Ch 3 a joke? Perhaps Hoax has never played an RPG B4. I am fairly new to the genre myself, so I am only level 9 at same chapter.
I have had no luck with Ressurection Spell as purchased item. Dead people just lay there grayed out after cast. One time learned spell worked; but only once.
Can purchased spells be learned like in BG; how ?
All my purchased expire after use.

Place the scroll in your inventory. Click on it with your secondary mouse button. There will be an option to write to you scroll book. Clerics do not learn spells from scrolls.

IIRC the Resurect Scroll can be used by anyone as scroll which will then disappear. Haven't played IWD II in a while so I don't recall how many scrolls there are.

With a 6 member party ... I dont even remember back that long. I start off with 1 or 2 melee capable charecters and then add spellcasting levels/charecters. The IWD games are great for simple point-click-kill guys like me :D Spells aren't important if you dont want them to be.
Still what with all the golems you kill, plus the Battle Squares, the Ice Wall & Temple are an XP feast. After all that 7th level just seems too low.

IWD II confuses one vis-a-vis spells since you will find a lot of scrolls for priest spells too. If you have played BG before, remember that mages are the only class in IWD II who learn from scrolls.

For any healing spells you have target the reciever's portrait. I have never really had the need to cast Raise Dead and Ressurection spells from a scroll. I always get it done by a healer. However try casting either spell from a scroll in the same area where the charecter died.

If you use it as scroll, you need to be at the location the party member died, and I also think only clerics (maybe druids, rangers, paladins too?) can use the scroll.

lvl 7 in chap 3? well, if you ran past all the monster invisible, maybe.
