Bridge error in chapter 2?

    Hello All! I'm new to this game and I'm looking for a help from the experienced users here!
    I'm stuck in the first stage ( crash site) of Chapter 2 of Ice wind dale 2.
    After I talked to Illium, I killed druids(including Odea) and wolfes. However the Illium was on the other side of the narrow bridge where the cold curtain is and I can not cross the bridge.
    Anybody knows how to cross the bridge so that I can loot the Illium's dead body( I killed him with range attacks)?

    Well, for starters, enter the village. There you'll find an entrance (typically a stairway) that leads to the other side of the bridge. Of course, there are still enemies so don't get cocky. There's also a room with a lot of hidden loot in the walls. Use alt wisely ;)

    Thank you! Um but could you tell me a bit more specific? North? South? I tried nearly every side of the village.

    Its the last door (easternmost door). IIRC, there are 4 doors in the village, it's the one nearest the map exit.
