    [​IMG] I think PoR is really crappy. At least NWN had some good points. Please give reasons to support your opinion.

    PoR.
    It is very buggy game. It's gameplay sucks.
    NWN works, and is quite good game, although the plot is horrible (fortunately there are many mods)

    POR is definitely worse. NWN is hardly the masterpiece it's claimed to be (or even close) but it's nowhere near as dire as POR.

    By the way I never actually played POR, I only voted based on numerous reviews I have read and everyone's aparent distaste for the game.(NWN, does at least have it's good points and can be fun)

    I guess no one likes PoR at all.

    I'm actually one of the few that like it. :)

    I much prefer POR over NWN. NWN is just too system heavy for a game that looks and plays so smegging poorly.

    NWN is definately the better game, but PoR really isn't that bad at all. Yes, the dungeons are long. But have you played the original PoR on the old commodore systems? The developers were trying to stay true to the original style of the first one, which is primarily turn-based group hack-n-slash in seemlessly large dungeons. I can appreciate the new PoR because I've played the old. A lot of people didn't like it because they were expecting a more character & story envolved RPG experience, which really has never been the point of PoR. It has it's gameplay flaws and the developers could have been a little less sloppy with the release, but to say nobody liked the game is just flat out untrue.

    well, like DeathRabbit,(hope you're well :) ) i played the original POR back in the day (along with Azure Bonds and Silver Blades) so i forced myself to like it. I can deal with and rather enjoyed the large dungeons, lack of personal involment with the story was a small let down, but i hated the finale. read my thread in the POR forum entitled "does anyone like this game?".
