    Right, what Moridin says...if you ask for the scroll first, you can renege on giving the wisom tome and then the umberlee clerics will go red and attack you...you get the scroll, the book and the exp for killing them.

    I don't remember getting any Tome in the Theives Guild. IIRC the dexterity was in the catacombs along with the strength tome. The 2nd wisdom tome was at the top of that mage's tower in the top central area of Baldur's Gate (The tower with the maage that asks you to recover a nymph and has some monsters on each floor).

    Of course I could be wrong. Played BG1 so long ago....
