    PC Gamer got this topic rolling on their messageboards and I thought it would be interesting to post it here. I would imagine our tastes tend to tip more to the RPG style games so let's see:

    1. Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn
    2. Star Wars: KOTOR
    3. Diablo
    4. Max Payne
    5. Dungeon Siege
    6. Fallout
    7. No One Lives Forever
    8. Icewind Dale
    9. Baldur's Gate
    10. Return to Castle Wolfenstein

    I've yet to play Half Life 2 or Halo 2 but these are getting rave reviews so I might break down and buy them.

    Ah, one of these listing threads again. Once there are >20 replies no one buggers to go through it all. Besides, are old games counted? If so, the list should be about TOP-100 and we already have one of those (if old).

    Icewind Dale I & II (although II kept bogging down)
    Baldurs's Gate I & II
    The Longest Journey
    NWN

    Thief was very intense, but for some reason I didn't like it and quit.
