I've been away from MMOs for a while and I kinda miss them. I just replayed the BG series and am working on IWD2, but I miss being able to focus on just one character. Here's the MMOs I've played so far and things I liked and disliked about them. If someone better connected to the gaming world could give me a tip on what's out now, or on the horizon, that I might enjoy, I'd really appreciate it.

    +Plenty of endgame content.
+Good PvP system. Solo and group PvP were both enjoyable.
+Variety of viable talent builds per class
    +Ease of re-specing

    Dislike
-Have to re- re- re- raid endgame missions to get the loot you want. (If the monster takes 40 players to kill, he should drop more than 3 items. Spending 4 hours to finish a raid and walk away empty-handed is firmly in the "Not Fun" category.)
-Gear sets. They really should have been more varied for each class and more easily accessible (see my first dislike). Endgame raiders or PvPers just end up looking like clones.

+Really being able to customize your character's look. There were trends, but it was extremely rare to see "clones."
+Very "alt" friendly. You could roll a dozen characters and have no two alike. Each class and most powersets had led to very different playstyles.
+Solo play and group play were both fun and rewarding.
    +No fighting over loot.
    +Early travel powers.

    Dislike
-PvP was awful. I just couldn't get into it.
Environments were extremely limited. There were only a handful of mission maps you revisited over and over from level 1 to level 50.
-Not much to do once you hit the level cap. There was one raid monster and a big PvP event, but once you get those under your belt you pretty much just roll an alt.

Incidentally, I have been keeping this LINK in my bookmarks for the time when I get bored to WoW. It has a list of free MMO games with pictures.
