    Has anyone read this guy's work? He's a Nigerian author who's written about his country, pretty good, I guess. Over the summer, I read a paper by him about genocide. Now, I'm reading his book Things Fall Apart, for English class, nonetheless. I haven't finished, but I don't care much for spoilers. It's given interesting insight into native African life. As for his paper on genocide, all I can remember is:

    (Oh, it wasn't Achebe himself who said that, he was quote a military officer)

    Yes I read "Things Fall Apart" for my English class and really found it interesting. Probably because it was so bleak and you always had the feeling that things would never work out for Okonkwo once his way of life began to change.

    yeah i did TFA for my lit class

    generally the book didnt really catch my attention.....the ending was a bit disappointing yet fitting tho...but overall the book is quite good......it addresses quite a few things..religion,tradition bla bla bla
