[IMG] If you were going to equip your warrior...and wanted to equip him just for a cool visual (forget the bonuses and that kind of stuff), how would you do it???
My warrior uses a Red Dragon Scale Armor, Dragon Helmet, the Dragon Slayer in one hand and the Celestial Fury in the other. He seems that had just came out from Hell!!! A brilliant red and yellow...

well normaly i just wear what offers the best protection, and then i litteraly colour me red. If im a mage, thief e.c.t its a dominant colour. If im armoured the shields enough normaly to make it look dominant

Dunno, I like Helm of Balduran looks... I do not like Balduran Plate thou, quite stupid colour. I actually do not pay that much attention to my char, than to my party. I want all my ladies to look good, hehe :)

For example I always equip Jaheira with Red Dragon Scales and that Ioun Stone that gives +HP Her hair looks really great with the red armor...

if'n I had the power, I'd create a ridiculously, undeniably powerful suit of armor that made your character all pink, which you could combine with a +5 longsword that has all the appearances of being a lavendar flower...

As the least ugly female avatar is that of human cleric I use it with my elven fighter ;) With the red plate, no helm, hammer and long sword she looks quite good

P.S. How the hell they managed to make the avatars worse than the bg ones?

Mine would be a elven thief. Shadow dragon scale, Pale green Ioun stone, Blackrazor/ Black blade of disaster.

The jester's chainmail is ace (I used CLUA Console to get it, so I'm not sure if it is available in game). It's multicoloured and keeps changing. :D

I'm pretty sure the Jester's Chainmail is what you get from putting 20 tokens in that machine under Spellhold. Personally, I'd just rather have a couple pairs of boots. ;)

Oh yeah, I usually have my fighter decked out in nice dark red as a major and a forest green for a minor, then with the Red Dragon Scales, she looks so cute!!!! And yeah, the Jester's Chain is in Spellhold, never got it though.

Here's the stuff I'd go for:
Elven Chain -nice bright green colour, look nice
Helm of Balduran -horned helms look cool
Dragon Shield - none of the other shields look good
Flail of Ages - bright yellow, glowing flail.

The other armor (boots, rings etc.) don't change the appearance too much to make a difference.

And I hate dark colours because much of the BG2 GUI is dark in the first place. I like making my characters stand out against the background.

Speaking of dark colors - that Plate of Balduran looks terrible, I had to ditch it... YUCK!

Hmm, I edited my halfling archer (fighter avatar) to thief avatar since he would wear leather anyway and would certainly look cooler that way :1eye: In ToB when I got the white dragon scale I edited him back to normal fighter avatar since halflings wearing chain and scale mails look almost cooler than thiefs ;)

putting red dragon armour on a female, half-elf, fighter/druid + have her colours set to white, makes her look like she's out of a sci-fi movie!

B.T.W - how do you change your avatar?

Valygar looked mighty cool when I gave him the red dragon helm, the shadow dragon leather and Celestial Fury.

Btw, on another note, how can I make Imoen look better in the game - right now she's looking mighty fat. Can it be fixed somehow?
