Hi...i notice that there is only area lightings in the toolset...is there anyway to include other lighting effects like spot ligts?

I've seen the placeables shafts of lights.
Is it possible to model a cylinder with lighting effects in 3DSMax and import into the toolset?

    Pls advise
    Thanks!

Well modelling something inherintly won't do anything to the lighting of the area, you could put in a shaft of light and use code to make it emit a light source, you can place torches or braziers and set their default state to activated as well, and they'll emit light.

If its a beam of light you want, the easiest thing to do, I think, would be to use the "beam of light" placeable, and change the ambient light color of the tile its on, and maybe the surrounding tiles.

To change the ambient light source of the tile, select the tile in question (or click and drag a number of tiles, make sure you're using the tile palette first too, I hate when I accidently select all of my placeables instead) and right-click on them, go to properties and you'll have two more lighting options. The first one is the basic lighting the tile will get, and the second one sort of outlines the "trim" of the tiles (the edges, etc.).
