@DxA - I don't agree that the rules are stupid. I do say that they are more *guidelines* than flatout *rules*, otherwise there would be no point to the flexibility DMs have. Also, the alignments are not forced upon anyone - I could go into a big quotefest of the manuals, but since you dislike them...

Well theres really nothing WotC can do to stop people from playing the game teh way they want to, aside from hiring gestap agents. lol

I didnt say I didnt like the manuals, in fact I find the manuals very interesting. Its just when it comes to playing the game, that I dont like particular rules or game concepts.

Pink Dragons... would live in... that astral plane! yeah thats it.

Go talk to Bion...or *Tal* Although the latter is far too busy for trivialities like that, and I think the former was quoted as saying "you can't handle the truth!" at one point so I dunno how successful your inquiries will be...

Right; it took a while (good thing I'm on vacation) but I've nailed down my take on the Pithril Dragon, and y'all can go check it out over here (seemed more appropriate for GGF/D&D since my work takes no action on the whole 'Tal is a pinky' subcurrent here. )
