[IMG] Has anyone ever seen those little cracks on the ground when using the tab key to highlight items? Sort of like the hidden stashes in BG1? Try as I might, I could never click on the right spot to see if there really is something there to pick up. If anyone has been able to do it, I'd like to know how.

Can you use tab to display things on the ground? I've tried it, but it doesn't seem to work with me. But then, the game ain't crawling with the usual assortment of bookcases and tables that we are used to from the BG-series....

Most of the time the tab key highlights items on dead bodies and dropped items. The only exceptions are on certain corpses that contain items but doesn't get highlighted - can't remember which corpses, some type of undead I think. It's a pain trying to click on these as the sprawled bodies doesn't seem to bear any relation to the actual position to click on to get the loot.

The tab key does not, however, highlight plunderable objects such as bookcases, barrels and chests. For these, I use the sweeping cursor - it changes to a hand. Once I accidentally found some jewels in the well next to the jeweller's house in Hommlet that way.

The very small highlighted spots that sometimes occur can be a pack of 20 "DO NOT USE"-bullets. They look like regular sling bullets, but I haven't tried using the ones I managed to pick up.

What will happen if you use the "do not use" bullets? I am a little confused w/ this... Have you tried to use them yet?
