    Practically all of them come with inbuilt help or documentation. Which one are you having problems with? (Name of the zip you downloaded off SP.)

    The trainer I am trying to use is: elemeviltrn2.zip.

    I was able to unzip it. I have read the documentation. I must be doing something wrong.

    From what I gather you just need to run the game, get to the character creation screen and arrange your stats, then run the trainer in the background and it will add the specified extras to your stats. The gold cheat works in the game, after you start.

    I'm not sure if the trainer works if your game is patched, however.

    [​IMG] I believe that there are three "Character Editors" that will adjust brand new characters only. If the user hasn't created any, or is too computer illiterate to locate those files after doing so, the editors will keep on waiting until you point them at a folder to load files from.

    The newest of those includes a field to specify how much gold the starting guy has. Any of them stands a chance of creating additional instability in a program that is already half in the bag without any encouragement.

    The only one that actually requires that the game be running in the background is the "Money Trainer" that plugs an extra $50,000 in when you click on the action bar. Almost all utilities of this nature tend to assume that users know pretty well how computers work.

    A really wet behind the ears newbie needs to get the yellow book "PC's for Dummies" and memorize it before trying to play with big boys' toys.
