I need some help about TOC trainer

hi to all !
i am Lord Solaris (the name of my player in Toee game), i need assistance in order to resolve a doubt on one function of Caracter's editor that i have downloaded from your web site.
When i change a value on skill tab for instance Heal value from 5 to 15 and then in the game i use the skill, i received from the game the message "you successful heal" (i use the Italian version of Toee and there i have "la cura ha avuto successo")but the hit point of my injured partner didn't change.

It is possible that the skill tab didn't work only for heal skill ( i tried also with survive skill and i change fro 0 to 10, in the game i can avoid monsters)?

i have tried the others two trainers on the web site (Toee trainer +2 and ToEE Trainer by Kharmakazy) but there are two possible matter in my mind :
1) i am stupid and can comprend how this work
2) the trainer is very stupid and doesn't work on my Toee game

Luckily for you, I think we have a third option.

The heal skill does not in fact heal HP (I thought it would do this as well) what it does is 'stabilize' the character, that is, when they are below 0 HP to -10 HP they are in the dying condition (as well as unconscious), and will lose one HP per round until they stabilize- there is a chance for this to happen by themself, but the Heal skill will do this for you automatically when used if the skill check succeeds.

Survival also only works when travelling in the over-land map. If you do this then there is a skill-check whenever there is a randomn encounter and you can choose to either avoid or engage.

I hope this explains everything

One other thing. Sometimes the trainers only work if you start a new game with the character you just edited, I'm not sure if that's the case here but it is worth checking.

The other two trainer works at same mode as Toc?
I start an new game, create new player, rolls dices, put all stats and after use trainer (put all stats to 40 ) and others thing till the end.
When i start new game again and use the new pc (power stats) that i presume have all stats to 40...
is that correct?

i have the bad consuetude to make one long post with many questions, so another question ...
how i can stop my party from taking every thing (all.... weapon and armor ) that won't or can't use and sell.. they begun too encumber...
perhaps the only way is to kill them all and after take all from there corpses ....

 

That is correct

As to your other question, killing them is a very good solution, right next to not taking them at al, owever, there are a few alternatives.

With the patch, they should no longer take things that will make them too encumbered, or after there inventory is full, that is one big problem out of the way.

However, this also fixed the exploitable bug many people used to retrieve said items from the controllable NPC while trading, so...

Install the patch first, then what you want to do is fill there inventory with useless items (leather gloves etc), when they are full they will not pick anything else up. SInce you gave them the gloves (or whatever) they are flagged as yours, that is, you can remove them anytime you want. I fthey leave the party and re-join, the all items in their inventory will now be flagged as theirs, so be careful.

If you don't mind them taking all your loot, then once the patch is on they will no longer encumber themselves, so you can play as normal- just a lot poorer equiped (unless you take an NPC who only loots specific itme that you don't need. There is a list of NPC looting behaviour Here at SP.

 

Great the Co8patch ver 2.00 give me the possibility to choose what kind of items my party must have and what i can sell.

PS: i forgot to say that the trainer for money and stat except for toc trainer doesn't work... i tried all things but nothing happen...
