I voted "Depends on the reviews".

I didn´t like ToEE very much. Mostly because I dont like turnbased games. Especially when they come with a radial menu that lacks functionality.

But if I hear and read that they are great, note great cuz good wont do :) , then I´ll buy them.

If they spent just a little more time on them, and they tweaked the engine, maybe.

If they used the Arcanum engine, intact, with no upgrades or changes, definately.

Maybe with the next module, as a special bonus, they could include a plot.

(Which reminds me...time to sign off and play some ToEE!)

[IMG] I finally came back to this game after shelving it for 3-4 months. I'm playing in Ironman mode which is pretty fun. My only complain came last night.

My paladin went to speak to Brother Whateverhisnameis, the smith, in Hommlet to buy some weapons. and while standing next to him, I mistakenly clicked "Smite Evil" on the radial button (since SE is conveniently located right next to "Talk" ), and killed the hapless smithy in two blows.

Now the only place to buy equipment is in Nulb...Although I guess that's better than nothing. I can't reload my game because I'm in Ironman mode...But luckily, my paladin didn't fall...Maybe the was WAS evil...Yeah, that's the ticket!

sure, i get all the additions i can get my hands on IF they make the game follow 3.5 rules.
now there are so many holes that it follows 3.5 edition only slightly.

they make it 3.5 to the LETTER, i buy it.

I would probably buy any new module, provided it extended the xp cap and added a dozen new classes to the game. Also, I'd prefer it if they scrapped their UI completely, as it's nasty and makes computers glitch (they could have used IWD2 or NWN for inspiration).

[IMG] I would definitely buy ToEE2 or a similar game. I loved this one, and would love to see one with complete 3.5 rules and lvl 20+ chars. My only complaint was that it was too short. Think Diablo Vs. Diablo2. Take what works, make it better and give us more of it.

I agree with Mr. Clean. Let's have a larger game with higher character levels and a more advanced plot. I would gladly go out and buy more modules based on Greyhawk by Troika/Atari. They just need to take a little more time and tweak, tweak, tweak, tweak, tweak. (Not to confused with skeet, skeet, skeet.) :p
