[IMG] This is getting silly. I've just cleaned out the room to the west of the coridor immediately by the secret entrance, and I can't pick up any of the goodies.

Looting seems to have packed up again (despite having all four patches) and, once the bodies have rotted away, the game simply terminates every time I try to pick anything up.

I'm getting crash after crash on this level.

Just to make the joy complete when I try and start the game more than a couple of time my CDROM freaks out and the whole system hangs; won't even shut down.

If I had programmed this game I'd be really, really embarassed and wouldn't stick it on my CV.

    he he...

Yep! It is a silly game with all the bugs! But at least it is consistent in a sense! You will experience crashes on ALL the nodes :)

Oh well... that's slightly different. Just tried going to the other room where I killed everything but couldn't loot the bodies. This time it crashes trying to enter the room, and this time it just freezes up (this, of course, is worse. I can't close the system down cleanly).

I reckon one of the save files may have got corrupted by a previous dirty shutdown (also caused by TOEE, of course).

I'll probably wind up having to go back to an old save and do things all over again.

Oh well, only had to go back two saves. No signifant victories negated. OTOH looting still doesn't work.

I hate to just pass by this thread without saying something. We've all had funky crashes. I was playing one game, and I was taking that nutty cleric (from one of the nodes) back to his brother (fire-temple, I believe). It would just crash when they go within range of each other.

Reinstall the game. Turn your video settings to "quality" rather than "high performance".

Try to remove Autosave from options. For some reason Autosave have often caused alot of weird problems with no relevance to the autosaving at all.
