[IMG] I´m sorry for asking such a simple question but... how can my characters read letters, journals, etc that they find adventuring?´

I´m sure is a simple answer, but have no idea how to solve it and I really want to read Lareth journal and the assasin letter...

    Thanks a lot!

    1) Take the item out of the chest and put it in someone's invetory. 2) Go to inventory, pick up item, drag it over to the 'use item' button.

    BTW, what assassin letter?

Well, that´s easy (and really embarasing or me)

They send an assasin against you for killing Lareth, but I think you have to sell some of his items to the traders in Hommlet first

Really? Darn... I doubled-crossed them already and they won't trade with me. Oh well, guess I can get rid of them now that I've seen all the quests they're tied to

Killing them at 1st level gets you more exp. than all of their quests combined. They also have some decent stuff and are not too hard to take out early in the game. Just arrange your battle tactics while theu are just standing there, then challenge then. This would be a good spot to save beforehand.

I know. I tried it before at level 2 or 3, and got a horde of experience (forgot how much). It's just that I like finishing every quest possible before ultimately slaughtering people to loot their goodies :p .

BTW, I went and mauled them with my level 10 characters and still got over 500 exp! Not that I really need it anymore, but still nice. Not to mention the amulet of non-detection I found (not craftable, is it?)
