Help with Hex Editors/Trainers

    I've tried every trainer and hex editor and have had no luck I tried so many patches and or fixes that I crashed the game and had to start over. If anyone can help with the hex editor or the trainers I would greatly appreciate it.

    If you tried to explain what sort of results you where trying to archive this would be easier.

    forexample: "I can not figure out how to give my part more gold" or "Can anyone help me ? i can not figure out how to raise the stats on my partymembers with hexediting."

    Would give us alot more to work with.

    Sorry, I've written down all my stats,gold etc. and converted to hex did the invert and did a search but no luck I'm sure i'm missing something easy just cant get it to work.

    For gold:
    Go Here and download the ToEE Money Trainer +1 (or try the others trainers if that one does not work), run the program while you are playing (alt-tab to minimize the game) then press the 'Give Me 5000 Gold' button. Go back to the game, you should now have 5000 gold pieces, repeat as needed.

    Most trainers will only work on the unpatched game, or only with the first patch (since the creators never updated them after that). But there's a link to a hex editing guide for ToEE on SP, have you checked that?

    [​IMG] Don't forget, when doing the search in a hex editor, you're looking for the inverse hex code for the value that your party currently has, and not the value which you want to have...

    It took me a couple of tries to get it all to work.

    sgnikiv - hex editing can be qute fun in some cases...and if I remember correctly, it's fairly easy in ToEE. In case of stats of your party - first write this numbers down, then open saved game with editor of your choice (Hexeditor is free, and quite useful - if you "google" it, you can find it easily).

    Then "search" for your stats, but first change them from decimal to hexadecimal, i.e. "16" (dec.) = "10" (hex.). In this case - I'm not sure if I remember correctly, that was some time ago - stats of any single character are written "together", so you can group your stats like (for example) "161515101210" (dec.), then search for "100F0F0A0C0A" (hex.).
    If that won't work, search for a single stat and look around - remaining stats have to be around...in close vicinity.

    I didn't search for money in ToEE, but it should be even easier. First change amount of money from dec. to hex. ((example) 4567 (dec.) = 11D7 (hex.)). Now is a little tricky part - in above example DON'T search for "11D7", search for "D711". In similar manner if your money is 84530 (dec.) = 14A32 (hex.), search for "324A01", and so on. In this example, if you change that "01" to "FF", you'll have a lot of money... ;) ...
