[IMG] I have just started playing a multiplayer game with 5 plus one NPC. Jaheira will be my final NPC.

I want to do all the character specific quests in chapter 2 but some of them take too long between events.

Anybody know how to speed these up?

Reason being, for example, I don't want to spend 20 days or more questing with Edwin while he instead of Jaheira accumulates all the xp in the meantime until his quest messenger finally shows up. Thanks

No, you can't speed it up.... When you really wanna do all NPC-quests, you have to switch a lot between all NPC's and it will take much more time....

Well I suppose some quests can be speeded up by resting a lot (the come back in ten days type quests). The danger of that approach is it will bugger up some of the other quests that run in real time. As most of the Jaheira quest is based on real time that could be a real problem for you. However there is a patch available that will speed up the Jaheira romance and so reduce the amount of real time needed:

scroll down to: "Updated Improved Jaheira Romance/Harper Plot is a very welcome update by Manveru to my original debugged Jaheira plotline (and Manveru has my eternal thanks for saving me from having to debug this thing again.) Several remaining bugs are corrected and I can call this my final update for this item."

Actually, the NPC's timers keep going even if they're not in your party anymore. So if you leave, say, Nalia in the Copper Coronet, go off doing other stuff with other people for a couple weeks, and then come back and put her in the party again, her messenger will show up as soon as you go out the door with her in tow.

    Awesome. Thanks. I'll try these.

One other way that may work is to create the necessary messenger with CLUAConsole if you
    can find their creature code.
