    [​IMG] I was just interested in what members I should keep and which I should let go, I am a mage. Right now I got Minsc and need him hes a great fighter. The rest are the 2 chics I think Aerie and forget the other ones name, but I think its Jaheria, Yoshimo and Cernd. I know the spellings are not right but oh well.

    That's really a matter of personal preference. If one of the NPCs you have isn't working for you (you rarely have them do anything) then perhaps try someone else. I tend to keep the first people I run into, so I ended up with Minsc, Jaheira, Aerie, Yoshimo (Imoen), and Valygar.

    [​IMG] I dropped Jaheira after the Harper incident. I've picked up people along the way for various quests, and to see how they stack up, but the party I have now, I think I'm going to stick with. They are:

    Aerie, Valygar, Imoen, Minsc, and Viconia.

    Valygar is a Ranger (Stalker kit). You'll need to find him to get into the Planar Sphere.

    Since the Cowled Fools want to get in there also, they were the ones that asked me to find him for them...

    Party choices should be based on how you like to play. Example, I like a lot of magic users and don't like pure thiefs or pure clerics/druids. So my parties tend to be heavily dual/multi classed. What you party ends up like depends on how you want to play. To make some (personal) suggestions:

    1)fighters: Minsc(best), Korgan(best-evil), Valygar(good), Keldorn(one dimemsional-casomyr)

    2) mages: Imoen(best), Edwin(best evil), Nalia(distant second as thief), Jan(sub till get Imoen)

    3) Cleric/Druid: Jahiera(best), Vionca(best-evil), Anomen(good also), Ariee(must have)

    4) Thief: see mage section, don't bother otherwise

    If your interested, here are my parties:

    Xalen(me)-Kensai D Mage
    Jindrak(pc)-Berzerker
    Minsc-Ranger
    Levathia(pc)-Fighter/Druid
    Ariee-Cleric/Mage
    Imoen-Thief D Mage

    Densath(me)-Fighter D Priest of Talos
    Korgan-Berserker
    Name(?)(pc)-Fighter D Thief
    Volaria(pc)-Wizard Slayer D Mage
    Vionca-Cleric
    Edwin-Mage

    The first party is my definately my favorite group type. The second party just shows the lack of depth from the few available evil NPC's.

    All could do abit of everything, all were okay in the fight and Mazzy is an unequalled (amongst NPC's) archer.

    Sir belliri...whatever I cant beleived you droped Jaheira she is like the coolest. Right now in my game i want to drag the love story to her. But that damn aries (cant remember how to spell it.) wont shut up. Oh azuras (me) I feel so lonly, so scared they cut my wings. I mean come on, would you like some chesse with that whine. Dont het me wrong shes great and Im nice to her, but come on Jaheira is the best, with she polymorph abilitys and the cloak you find in the sewers. I always turn her into a troll for the hard fights. Oh welljust though I would drop a though into the conversations bye. :)

    Do not understand everyones like of Jahiera and Minsc.

    Jaheira is ALMOST as annoying as Aerie who certainly wins the title of most annoying bitch.

    Minsc is like a bad sitcom. He is one joke drawn out for way toooooooo long. He was fun for a while with the talking sword but come on. One joke...very funny....after 7075076767 times...Minsc you are the weakest link...GOODBYE!!!

    [​IMG] I´ve kept Minsc for social and sentimental reasons. I fought side by side with him through BG-1 and in BG-2 I owe him one for that and he´s still a good fighter.
    And he would´nt survive a single day without the skillful intellectual guidance of a brillinat and glorious, oh yes and modest party-leader like me.

    Personal reasons of dislike aside(yes I left Jahiera turned to stone in BG-so what?!?), Minsc and Jahiera are 2 of the best party members available. Yeah, thier dialog gets old or annoying, but then, there are only a couple of characters that don't. I care more about what they can bring to the party, not the terrible actors and scripters who are responsible for their personalities :)
