Anomen romance - stuck

    [​IMG] Hi all,

    I thought the romance with Anomen was going ok but all of a sudden when he asks me if I have to struggle against my Bhaal blood, all four of my possible answers lead to him getting angry and saying "leave me alone I need to think!" I read somewhere that that means the romance is over - am I screwed? What did I do wrong before this? I counseled him not to go after Saerk and I thought it was all right. Do I have to go way way back (sob), is this just temporary, or what? It doesn't matter whether I say "no I don't struggle", "yes I struggle but I succeed", "stop being melodramatic" or "I don't feel comfortable talking about it." Please help! I don't want to go any further if if I have to go back but I hate to have to kill the vampires and everything all over again! Thanks!

    no need to go back. it should be like that. actually, that romance is kinda tricky...it's hard to not get pissed and just tell him to **** off... :D

    Yes this is normal in the Anomen Romance. If you chose one of the first 2 choices at least I think you are ok.

    If you have Shadowkeeper you can check the global variables for ANOMENROMANCEACTIVE. If this variable = 1 or 2 you are ok. If it = 3 it is over im afraid. I think you are ok though.

    I think they originally planned for Haer'Dalis to be a romance interest too but never got round to doing his romance scripts... oh well im sure someone out there can do a mod (probably is one somewhere)!

    IIRC, many of the dialogs for the Haer'Dalis romance are actually in the game. You just need to edit his scripts so that the dialogs actually trigger (or just set it so that a new one appears whenever you 'flirt' with him).

    they started a romance with him, but never finished it, and some of the scripting is still hanging around in the game, but not being used... I think.

    [​IMG] Nobody has PMd' me on the H'D mod, if you want the cute bard - do so :p

    Anomen has got a short fuse - and is quite blunt, so even if it seems he's annoyed with you, it's usually him annoying you instead, after the argument he apologises ;)
