    I like two-handed weapons mostly for my fighters.

    IMO, I don't like either of them. If I had to choose one, I guess The Equalizer even though you have to go for quite a while just carting along the pieces before you can get it assembled. Halbards, to me, are just plain useless.

    Personally for long swords, I prefer Daystar and Dragonslayer.

    Ok ok...if you want great swords, I give you two!! Carsomyr and Celestial Fury!!!!Ahhh, if only Carsomyr was a one-handed sword, it could be a great partner as second hand sword in the slot of a Half-Orc Berseker!!!

    IMO one of the best swords available from early on are Namarra, flametongue and the blade of roses. All awesome weapons. I actually tend to think that the Blade of Roses (2d4+3; enchated +3) even beats out Namarra (1d8+4, enchanted +2). The Blade of Roses chr bonus comes in handy for a paladin.

    One handed Carsomyr would not be enough for a Half-Orc Berserker,since only Paladins can use Carsomyr.
    Khelben wishes that The Silver Bear was right,then he could play with a multi-power Kensai...

    Spetznaz, sure it could!!! Not all the monsters at the game are easy beaten just at direct conflict with swords and axes!!!!! Wisdom (not from the character, but yours) is always welcome when battle seems to be hard! In addition to it, never a Half-Orc Berseker with St and Con 19 and Dex 18 and equipping Carsomyr and Celestial Fury (and even armoured with the best of stuff) will be unbeatable!!! There will be always a weakness. That's why I still say: "...Carsomyr and Celestial Fury!!!!"
    Ah Khelben, I really forgot to say that...thanks a lot!!! I just don't know how I could forget such a limitation!!! Thanks again ...
