[IMG] Common sense would dictate that a neutrally aligned PC (concerned about balance) would opt for as many good as evil choices in Hell.

I, however, go in with a CN Assassin, take *one* evil path (really wanted Blackrazor for ToB), and whattaya know, now I'm neutral evil.

What this means is that a N druid *has* to take the good path, in all instances, no? Does the druid undergo the alignment change? Is there such a beastie as a "fallen druid"?

I think that either you take ALL the good paths and your alignment doesn't change or you can't resist the dark side and you become evil (taking one bad path is enough to make this happen). Don't know about the fallen druid.

"Once you start down the dark path...forever will it dominate your destiny"

...or so Yoda thought. Anakin proved him wrong.

I agree, if they were going to stick with the "one way or the other" mentality like they did, then they should not have had a neutral option. Basically, neutral is a puppet. It's there, but you can't flesh it out. At least not without bending the rules a bit and cheating. It's a shame. We'll see how future projects handle this.

The hell part is very black or white, no grey area. I think the designer was a Paladin!

My CE sorcerer became more good in hell :D
After taking all the evil paths he ended up as NE, hell seems to have a calming effect on the real wicked people ;)

    1. There is no fallen druid.

    2. Swiching LE and CE to NE after taking evil paths is bug (will be dealt with).

    3. Only selfish test will make pallie or ranger "fallen" if the path taken was evil. That is also a bug (and will be dealt with). This means, player will become NE if evil path was taken anywhere else, but won't lose ranger/pallie abilities.

    4. If player has both Blackrazor and Genie Tear in his inventory, he should be judged as evil. However, that is not so (will be dealt with too!).

    5. Player can abuse lame Bioware's AI to overcome penalties in selfish test (I better not write that, call Dan Simpson for details :p, meanwhile remember that will be dealt with)

    6. No matter the path player took in selfish test, the teardoor reward is always as the player took good path (yes, this is one to deal with too).

    7. The reward for fear test erroneously depends on the path player took in greed test. Regardless the path player took in fear test, if greed test was finished in good path, teardoor reward for fear test was as the path taken there was good, but also if greed test was finished in evil path, teardoor reward for fear test was as the path taken there was evil (*sigh*).

    8. I think Bioware's QA should receive a Nobel Prize.

[IMG] I found a strange bug in hell that gives you +1 Dex. I havent verified it yet, but will try the method I used the first time. After I got each tear I went back to the door to get the reward.

1.) Do pride test - chose good method
2.) Do fear test - chose good method
3.) Do selfish test - chose good method (i however, skipped the penalties using dan simpsons method. The bug could relate to this)
4.) Do Sarvok Test (wraith?) - Chose evil method.

After the Sarvok test, I checked my stats, and bingo, 20 dex. (Playing Elf Assasin, so its very usefull.) However, the stat increase could have happened before then, as this was the first time I had checked my stats.

Has anyone else noticed this? I will verify my method then post back here.

[EDIT - Just tried the above method again, and got the same result. 20 Dex. Im not complaining though! LOL]

Damn, I thought I had discoved somthing.

And with Alignment, I was NE anyway, so it didn't matter what i chose. I just did what would give me good rewards in true NE style.

I don't want to have to play a whole game to find out, but does *anyone* know what happens to a druid who takes takes all the evil tears?
