Is Jan's Quest hard enough to pick up a new NPC?

    I think he wants to ask if you should pick up Jan just for his 'special' quest. If thats the question then no. I personaly think Jan is worth picking up if you like long stories leading to nowhere.

    Wow, this is a genuine exercise in interpretation. I thought the question was "Is Jan's quest hard enough that I need to pick up someone else to replace him while he's absent from the party?"

    If that, in actuality, is the question, than the answer is no, you should be able to handle it without replacing him

    Another NPC in your party is a big descision. I always try and have six characters even though the level advancement is slower. So if you have room for more people then bring them in. :)

    Not wanting to spoil anything, so all I'll say is it that the quest involves one or two (not sure, it's been a long time) easy fights. I'd say picking up someone would be a waste of time (outfitting him) and exp (you're probably not going to keep him).

    Well the Jan quest isnt much to hang in the christmas tree imo. It was supposed to be much longer but the developers shortened it pretty much.
