    [​IMG] You will be pleased to hear that i have just purchace my very own copy of BG2 (note: this si my FIRST A.D.D. or Black isle game). To be honest, im not sure if im playing the game right. Its not that i dont understand the game at all, i just fell like im doing somthing wrong. HOW SHOULD I BE PLAYING?

    Try your own way through it the first time, then you will be sure to miss some quests that will keep it interesting to play the next time ;)

    Play anyway you want, I think it's best to start that way. Then, when you've completed the game, try playing in another way.

    By the way, those other BG-games are great too, you'd probably want to try them as well.

    Congrats on getting the game. Here is a link that might come in handy:

    There is some great stuff you can get from this site. Since you are new I would check out Sorcerer's Guide to Kits and the NPC's Guide. Also, scroll to the very bottom to read FAQ's about AD&D rules and AC (armor class) and such. Use walkthroughs with caution, I didn't use them my first game and I am glad I didn't. It might also be good to check out the manual.

    So what class/kit is your main character? I remember having a very limited knowledge of the rules when I first started playing and Irenicus' dungeon did seem weird, but keep playing because it gets great.

    [​IMG] I had hoped you would start with BG1 cause it is naturally part of the backbone to BG2.

    Still I don't think you'll have any trouble. It is easy to get the general hang of the rules and the storyline is not hard to catch. If you have troubles feel free to ask :)
