    Well... I was at an outlet mal today, and I brought a book that had some amusing stuff in it, and among other little tidbits, it had two letters John Kerry wrote.
    Letter 1: Jan. 22, 1991, Letter to a constituent
    "Thank you for contacting me to express your opposition... to the early use of military by the US against Iraq. I share your concerns. On January 11, I voted for a resolution that would have insisted that economic sanctions be given more time to work and against a resolution giving the president the immediate authority to go to war."

    Letter 2: Jan 31, 1991 (Just a bit over a week later...) Letter to the same constituent as above
    "Thank you for contacting me to express your support for the actions of President Bush in response to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. From the outset of the invasion, I have strongly and unequivocally supported President Bush's response to the crises and the policy goals he has established with our military deployment in the Persian Gulf."

    -Excepts retreived from "Unusually Stupid Americans," published by Villard Books, written by Kathryn Petras and Ross Petras

    A second bit I found, while I glanced through Time Magazine (May 10, 2004 edition) was a small article about Kerry. Taken from it are the following two bits:

    "I don't own an SUV, my family does." - In response to a reporter's question about a suburban he owns.
    Later, to a different set of reporters: "We have some SUVs. We have a Jeep. We have a couple of Chrysler minivans. We have a PT Cruiser up in Boston. I have an old Dodge 600... We also have a Chevy, a big Suburban."


    (The following is a direct quote from the magazine.) "Kerry complained that a Secret Service agent caused his spill while snowboarding in Idaho in March, griping, "I don't fall. That son of a ***** ran into me." Kerry went on to fall several more times that day, without any help from his bodyguards." (The thing he says about the man vowed to take a bullet for him really upsets me...)

    Well, not only is the Democratic nominee for the Presidency of the United States a liar, he's a bad one.

    I seriously doubt he wrote those two letters himself. Senators usually dont reply to mail from "regular" people. It was probably a secretary or something.

    That being said, I don't doubt he's a liar, but no more than George W. or any other politican for that matter.
