[IMG] I am currently in chapter 3 and would like to go to umar before I head to spellhold. Umar is on my map, but is greyed out. I have done almost everything else I can find to do. Do I HAVE to complete the chapter and head off to spellhold before I can proceed to UMAR Hills??

[IMG] I think you must go to city gates first.

I have been thru the gates to Windspear and Druid's Grove, do I need to go thru gates every time I leave the city?

You must go to the goverment district and talk to the little boy at the center of the map. He will give you the Umar Hill quest and mark it on your map so you can go there.

I bet you have ToB (Throne of Bhaal) installed. Post if I'm right.

Visit City Gates again, if that doesn't help, visit Windspear again then try from there, etc, etc.
    You need to circle around.

And I've read about this problem only with ToB installed or messing with "worldmap.wmp" file (which I don't believe you did).

    [EDIT]
Glad you solved it. Only I'll have to write it down as another problem in SoA too :(
