Ok, i have the item upgrade mod, but even when i didnt, i was annoyed about not finding certain items... Anybody know where to find;

--Golden girdle, girdle of bluntness/piercing.
For those i should probably admit to having several golden/bluntness. I imported with a golden, and there are 2 bluntness AFAIK.

--Ring of acuity
Again i have 2 rings of wizardry (harpers and sphere) and would like a second acuity to match...

--Vials of holy water before chapter 6
(For improved daystar)

Ring of animal friendship
Brine potions before underdark
robes of the archmagi
blackblood (club)
ring of air control
staff of earth

So far as I know, there's no way to get either Holy Water or Brine Potions before the Underdark.

I know the Evil Archmagi's Robe can be bought in Ust Natha, and I think the Good version is at the Adventurer's Mart in Ribald's special stock. I don't think the Neutral version is even in the game.

 

The good version is in Trademeet after you get rid of the genies, in the smithy north of the fountain.

Ring of air control is in Ribald's store, I even think it is before the special stash. Black blood is in Trademeet after genies are gone, a trader with a table sells some seriously good stuff amongs them blackblood. Staff of earth is in Ust Natha and animal friendship can be bought in the adventures mart any time.

 

Golden Girdle can only be gotten by mages, as the reward for sending the Solamnic Knights home. Girdle of Bluntness is in Irenicus' Dungeon.

I think some temples sell Rings of Animal Friendship as well as Ribald. Not sure though.

 

Ring of Acuity is on Lavok after the completion of the Planar Sphere quest, but you only get one. I think if you want a pair, you're out of luck.

Some girdles and as Alavin said, maybe the Ring of Animal Friendship can be bought in temples. They are usually at the bottom of the list, so scroll down.

There is a ring of air control in the Planar Prison (Haerdalis' quest) on the demon. [EDIT]Oh yeah, joacqin is right (see below) [/EDIT]

Not sure about the Robe of Neutral Archmagi. Although I seem to be thinking that it IS in the game.

That is the staff of air control Blog. I am quite certain that there are none robe of the neutral archmagi in the game, there is an archmagi robe on the dragon in hell but I think that one is evil.

 

The staff of earth is in Ust Natha
The girdle of piercing is on one of the kidnappers in the buried alive quest.
And the Tashia mod adds loads of rings of acuity.

if i recall its in trademeet as well (Robe of Neutral Archmagi)...

the Robe of Evil Archmagi is in hell on the dragon (that you have to kill if you whant it)

There's a girdle of piercing on Kalah (circus quest) once you kill him.

 

No neutral robe in trademeet, it is a good one. The bone blade is in Ust Natha after you collect the brain of the drow noble and the pixie prick is in the planar prison, not the planar sphere. Just wanted to be clear on that.

 

The robe you can buy in Trademeet is for those of good alignment.
In a unmodded game there are no robes for neutral characters. But with Tactics you can acquire some through slaying the mages in the random encounters, iirc.

Boneblade - you will get it in the Underdark (Ust Natha).
Pixieprick - to be found in the Planar Prison.

Gamebanshee gives the location of most of the more significant items in the game.

 

There is no Robe of the Neutral Archmagi anywhere in SoA.... ToB is another matter. (AA is the only clue I'll give )

 

Don't be too dissapointed about there being no neutral robe... the robe of Vecna is better.

@klorox- the robe of vecna is good, true. Too good, IMO. So i got item upgrade, almost solely for the upgraded robes.

Doesn't it seem that neutrals have been shafted in this game? No robe, the hell trials are a joke if neutral, and many dialogues give a good or bad option only. Hmmm.

 

What about the boots of phasing? I've seen them on a few sites, but I have never found out where you get them. They're supposed to give you 2 ac bonus and a weird special - phasing to a different enemy every 12 seconds.

 

The boots of phasing is not in the game, they are in the item files though but not implemented into the game. They make it so that the wearer teleports to the nearest enemy always.

 

God I love those boots. Put them on Minsc and forget about tactics. Of course, this is not good if fighting Firkraag or other close-combat enemies. They are cursed though.

EDIT: Yay! New Gem! Shame it looks bad though.. oh well, will just have to visit SP more often
