I have noticed in alot of walkthroughs, the authors use specific locations to find objects or npcs such as, " At x1500 y825 you’ll find 40 Arrows +1." I'm just curious how you can see these numbers.

There's a key you need to press and it tells you the location of the cursor. Can't remember which one it is right now but think it might be L. Press a few keys and if you see the co-ordinates pop up in the window at the bottom of the screen you'll know you've got the right one.

Its X. In BG1 it was L. Don't know why they changed it, though.
