If animated movies count, "hallelujah" by John Cale in Shrek

:yot: John Cale? I thought it was Rufus Wainwright...or did he do the non-movie version?

IIRC hallelujah is a Leonard Cohen song so I'm not quite clear who sang it in Shrek, but I remember that the piano was predominant, so if it was a partnership between Cale and Wainwright, I don't know?

The Killing Moon at the beginning of Donnie Darko was done nicely.

Fight Club credits - The Pixies - Where Is My Mind?

The entire score to Jurassic Park, and some of the songs on the blade runner soundtrack by Vangelis... nothing new mentioned in this post.

I think the theme to halloween is good. But the best has to be "Whats this" from Nightmare before Christmas.

I really liked the use of White Rabbit by Jefferson airplane in The Game. Great sequence.

The song in Love Actually where the kid goes through the airport with four security guys on his tail.

Neo vs. Smith in Matrix Revolutions.

Gary Jules' version of 'Mad World' from Donnie Darko. That song captures the flavor of the movie itself.

Don't remember who actually performed it but the cover of The Stones' "Wild Horses" p[layed during the rollercoaster sequence in Fear fits perfectly into the whole scene.

I think they've all been said, really.
Resevoir Dogs, that ear scene rules.
Joy Division - Love Will Break Us Apart in Donnie Darko. The Church - Under The Milky Way in the previous scene as well.
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, the opening scene. Hundred Mile City - Ocean Colour Scene, iirc.
He Died With A Felafel In His Hand, the beginning and the end, The Stranglers - Golden Brown. Also, Noah Taylor's rendition of Mamas and Papas - California Dreaming
Robin Hood (Disney) - Ooh De Lally

The sound track to Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Songs like Fools Gold by Stone Roses and a few other good tracks.

    Quality.

In Conan the Barbarian, when Conan and Subotai are running across the country, the music in that was amazing.

"Hallelujah" - credited as being performed in the film by John Cale - from Shrek always brigns a tear to my eye.

And of course anything where The Pinacolada Song gets played is usually pretty fun.

Also, I love the use of Flagpole Sitta in Disturbing Behaviour but I can't fro the life of me find it on CD anywhere.
