    [IMG] Greetings.

I was wondering if anyone had noticed the absolutley amazing stats that the pre-generated theif and illisionist/thief start out with? The thief has:

    90% Stealth
    60% Find Traps
    70% Pick Pockets
    70% Open Locks

I cannot believe that they would give level 1 thieves this much skill. Can someone else confirm this, and if so, what is your take on it?

Then there goes something wrong. I started a pure thief and an illusionist/thief, both generated in MP. They had all less good stats than this, I am sure. So it should be a bug.

    Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear.

By pre-generated I meant the characters that come with the game. The ones that you can import without creating. Bioware included 1 sample from each class to start the game with, but like I said, the 2 thiefs have amazing stats.

I also noticed that the pre-generalted theif-illusionist had obscene skills. I can see no way they can be justified with rules either, Bioware must have just willed it so.

I would say they are just there for people who REALLY need help and get adjusted to the game. I've never worried about using them though.

[IMG] Well, since you usually start with misearble stats this char more sounds like a lvl-6 thief ;) - he's not by any chance ? :p

I mainly agree with Big B: I think the pre-generated chars are for beginners anyway so the good abilities may have been included to help people to explore the thieving abilities right from the start, which is way more difficult with a thieving abilities of around 15 to 35 points ;)

Yeah, maby that's the reason for this, however it is not correct when you look at the D&D rulez, where the game is based on. Ah, maybe the guys of Bioware where just experiencing (cheating) with Gatekeeper and forgot to set the the stats back to proper level 1 scores :)
