I personally feel it is cheating... But, it's your game...

Realistically, people have solo'd the whole thing without cheating of any sort, so the play/export/import/repeat thing seems relatively pointless if you want a challenge as opposed to a lesser challenge.

Cheating has a broad defenition, so noone can really say what is and what isn't.
So, if don't like it, don't do it, and the other way around.

It never fails to surprise me whenever I see a topic of this kind. And I've seen quite a few where someone asks whether this or that is considered cheating or whether it's okay to do it.

If something doesn't involve another person, I don't see how concepts like cheating, honesty, compassion etc come into play. I mean...say a computer program asks you to key in your age for whatever reason (and no other person would ever know what you typed in), would you ask yourself if you were an honest person just becos you didn't put in your correct age into the program?

When you play a computer game (single player) you shouldn't worry about cheating. You should just think about maximising your satisfaction. If playing with a character with 25 in all stats makes you happy, then that's the only way you should play!

I can understand why people say the best way to play is without any cheating. I used to play every game with a walkthrough in hand because I couldn't be bother to waste time solving things. I still had fun. But I definitely have much more fun when I complete a game without any walkthough, cheats etc.

To end my rambling, just do whatever you feel like doing and stop worrying whether it's cheating. If you've never played a whole game straight, then I'd suggest you try doing that once and see if you like the experience. Otherwise, "cheat" all you want :). The only aim is to have fun.

Well said davycop! I think you're completely right that in a single player game, play which ever way is the most fun for you.

I think Nazar already knew it would be cheating... if you already think it is cheating, then don't do it. We can shout as load as possible that it wouldn't be cheating but would you believe us? Of course it is cheating, but about cheating, do what you like not what everybody here does :)

personally, I think it is, because if you run it through a lot, you'll find all the tomes and(if tob) Lum's Machine all over again, and your stats will max out
