Viconia + Fighter Stronghold questions

I've heard that Viconia disappears after a while (because she seems to think that lloth's after her or something), and I was wondering if this can happen at anytime, or is this part of her storyline suspended during the interval from when you leave Amn for the asylum, and comes back from the underdark. I wouldn't want to be stuck without a cleric on that major a portion of the game, since I heard after she leaves she goes to the cemetary, which cannot be accessed if you're gone from Amn...right?

Another thing: just how many quests are associated with the fighter stronghold and which one is where Nalia gets captured? She's been with me for 3 weeks or thereabout, and nothing has happened yet.

Hey Arulis, Viconia is awesome. She does wait in the cemetary but I picked her up right before sailing off to the Assylum. I had just dropped Valygar and wanted another good addition. Like a Cleric that actually has an 18 Ability score for Wisdom.

So you may wish to check the Cemetary location (the same area where Bohdi tries to lure you in to an agreement with her 'side' of the political segment). Also she's been with me the entire time through the Assylum, through the 'massive' Underdark, and now up on the surface again. She has a 'thing' for my Fighter and you may wish to always say the 'right' things to her so that she stays in your party.

At some point she 'swears her loyalty' to you and I don't think you'll have any problem after that. At least I haven't run into any issues yet.

Finally I don't know if the Stonghold for Nalia quest ends... at least it hasn't for me yet. I've completed everything that the quests indicated but it is still in my QUEST list. Perhaps it falls under the 'constant vigilance needed' to keep the Stronghold and therefore it is never finished until the game finishes. In fact now that I'm on the surface again I've visited (home) the Keep and enlisted the service of a Cleric (an untrustworthy one). He has a boatload of potions that I use. He also has all of the standard Temple services you'll find anywhere.

BTW just to clarify, has Nalia been captured yet in your party? Is this what you mean? If she hasn't she will some time after her father's funeral.

There are a few quests that I've completed, yet they still register in my Quest "to do" list. One that I can think of off hand is Delon's quest to Umar Hills. Even after completing the task, you can still return to him and he asks for help.

Nope, Nalia hasn't been captured yet, for that matter...I haven't received any messages regarding her father's funeral either..hmmz..
Well, apparently, my Viconia hasn't swear her loyalty to me yet, but I just bedded her. Hey, it's the second time she asked, I can't be TOTALLY heartless

 

Zamnnn, I said to "Say the right thing" not "Do the Wild Thang" Well, I hope your gaming experience was at least worthy of a ride in the hay with her. She was probably very... "Klingon-ish" right?

I opted to leave out the deep romances of the BG2 theme (and they definitely interweaved some pretty lusty stuff in this game folkes) and just be 'good friends'.

 

Compared to Fallout 2 there is nothing BG2 can do to make me feel uneasy. Why can't I be a pornstar in BG2 as well?

 

Viconia asked me to sleep with her right after I saved her from Bodhi's curse. She had gone on about how she never wants to be seperated from me... then that night asked me to lay with her... who was I to disappoint?

Well, the next morning, she wasn't so enthusiastic, stating that she couldn't believe she allowed me to put my rough hands on her body, etc. I guess my character isn't very good in the sack.

Since then, she's initiated dialogue once more, stating that she doesn't believe I'm taking full advantage of being a Child of Bhaal. Weird... dunno where it's gonna go from there!
