    yes, Boiler Room would be correct. The scene I used is the one where they're all gathered around a tv watching Wall Street in Ben Afleck's home quoting the movie right before it's said in the movie.

    After some travelling, our hero is offered hospitality in a house in the middle of the woods. Unfortunately, by night, his hosts transform into disembodied vampiric heads.

    Nope to both. It is set in Japan (or Japanese fantasy land anyway).

    Extra hint: Upon discovering the truth, the hero disposes of the headless bodies by weighing them down and throwing them into a nearby lake. He then proceeds to fight the vampiric heads until the sun rises and they disintegrate into dust...

    Ok, more hints... the film in question is animated and is actually a spin-off of a live-action film which in turn is based on a comic book.

    Ugh, that's apparently a famous folk tale of oriental origin - I remember reading a graphic novel with the same plot a month or two ago; hero was a guest in a isolated Japanese house for the night with seven 'travellers'; during the night, their heads popped off to suck him dry, but he fought them off, grabbed their bodies and sank them in a nearby lake, then stalled the vampire heads until dawn and sunlight destroyed them...

    EDIT: huh; I hate 'simu-posting'. :heh:

    I've prolly given it away to somebody, but I've only seen the live-action movie and read the comic - never heard of this animated spin-off so I can't even guess at the title...
