    Does Bodhi's servant approach your party with her offer, if your main character's an Undead Hunter? It would be almost stupid to do so! The Undead Hunter's holy mission is to hunt down and destroy such fiends! To take such a person right to the vampire's doorstep would be folly!

    I beleive that even if you are playing an undead hunter, the offer will be made. This is one of the encounters that is programed to occur to everyone.

    i suppose it keeps with the tradition of vampires being fataly overconfident, keeping sharp wooden stakes around their lair etc.

    I must correct it doesnt happen to everyone. if you are a thief and have the guild she wont accept you, she says some crap about ones loyalty being elsewhere or something

    If you choose the guild you have chosen your place. The Shadow Thieves are at war with Bodhi's Vampires. You can't be a guild-member, and one of bodhi's followers at the sametime.
