What is in your opinion the best part of the game?

I'd realy like the part of the game where you are smarter then the whole drow city and get rid of Phaere en the Matron Mother....

What's your favorite part of the game?

I kinda liked the Umar Hills quest (With the shade lord). The "Umar Witch Project" was a nice touch...

    Good question...

I think the best part of the game was during the voyage back to Athkatla from Brynnlaw, and having to simultaneously deal with a shipload of Pirates, Githyanki, Sahuagin, and of course Saemon Havarian's treachery. I never realized how wonderful pure chaos can be.

    [IMG] Watcher's Keep, without a doubt :D

A close second would be Firkraag's Dungeon though. Just hated where those pesky Orc Archers stood above you! Took me quite a while before I found the doors to get to their level, too late to save my beautiful Sorceress though :( And those Kamikaze Kobolds! Damn that was mean  Killed the poor lass again (in opposite order of course). And seeing Tazok again, rising from the dead for the 3d time.. ah, the memories...

  6. Underdark was incredible. The last sequence of events happened so fast, with three missions (eggs, rope, rogue priests) happening at the same time, I was running from place to place like crazy.

I enjoyed running to the front door of Underdark, summoning every creature I had, casting protective spells on them, and sending them out to kill the inhabitants. The invisible stalker was still killing people when I left.

Underdark includes the back door, with the Gorgon statue and dirty tadpoles.

The pace was frentic. I loved it.

    Underdark.
I loved the atmosphere there and the genuine feeling as being a part of the vile Drow society... Not to mention that cool double deception on Jarlaxle's quest.
Exceptionally well done. The only problem were the annoying time limites that were set there all the time... if you missed something like a meeting with Phaere, she would turn on you, which kinda ruins it all so you have to restart. Woe if you don't have a savegame handy.

Accualy the whole game, except for the quests where you have to go to another plane (Valigar's sphere, res q haer'dalis, etc).
I think the parts that I love best are the parts that I have finally won a difficult battle and get a lot of good loot, which I deserved. (Like with Firkraag or good party's)
BTW, how do you beat Kangaxx?!
I can defeat him before he has cast any offencive spell (daystar's sunray rules!), but then he turns in the real Kangaxx and before he is dead he casts imprisonment on my main figure! I just recently found a time stop spell, so maybe that works, but I'm already in chapter 7 and still haven't beaten the guy! I want Gaxx's ring though !!

Minsc's 'evil meet my sword, swORD MEET EVIL!!!' speech. Or possibly looking down into the pit in the top left hand corner when you first enter Firkraag's temple, knocking a pebble in, hearing a disgruntled snort and just knowing what it means you're going to be facing soon.

I'd say going to Brynlaw/Spellhold. It signals that the game is really back on track, and you're moving towards the goal of getting Irenicus and Bohdi.

The 2nd and 3rd chapters are fun, but not really involved with the plot.

I liked chapter 4 - trip to Brynnlaw/Spellhood. What I liked even more, that I did the whole chapter (from the time you set sail in Athkatla to when you enter the Underdark) without resting - in one go.

I also beated Lord Jierdan Firkraag at lvl 10/11, was very cool. From places, I realy love the underdark (drow quests), But not only th eplaces are cool, the characters also! Especially Minsc his speeches are great, very funny. A 3rd good thing is that you meet people from BG1 again and that's also very cool.

I have to jump on the Underdark band-wagon. Drow society was well-scripted. The side quests were challenging and original.

It had a good tune, easy to dance to, I give it a 50.

I have a few actualy. I realy liked the undredark. trying to act as an unfealing drow and all that. also the sahugon undrewater city, that was brilliant. I remember a freind who just went straight to the underdark, big mistake. I also like minsc's speach. " you are on the right track to true goodness, maybe we should get you a hamster or an ice ferret whatever your taste..." he was just funny. but i think this kind of convo could go on for ages.
P.S I posted a sure fire way of killing kangaax earlier on, so maybe you could take a look.

    Favourite place...?
Mine would have to be hell. It's hard enough for a high level party PLUS you get cool abilities (too bad you can't keep them ... maybe in the expansion pack?)PLUS you get to finish off Irenicus again! Is that a bonus or what?
