Following on the joke thread, anyone have any good tongue twisters? It can be amusing, like my fave in English:

    I'm a mother pheasant plucker
    I pluck mother pheasants
I am the most pleasant mother pheasant plucker
That ever plucked a mother pheasant.

Or very difficult to say, like this auf Deutsch:

    Blaukraut bleibt Blaukraut
    und
    Brautkleid bleibt Brautkleid

(cabbage remains cabbage, and wedding dresses remain wedding dresses...)

Some of the more common ones in english:

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? (Or just ask Lazy Bonzo...)

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, how many pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick? (There is more but I don't remember it)

Sally sells seashells by the seashore (again there is more that I don't remember)

I forgot: Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear. Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair. Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy was he? (Say it real fast, unless I have that one wrong too :nolike: )

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    It's:

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck would chuck wood?

Thus leading into the second verse:

A woodchuck would chuck lots of wood if a wood chuck would chuck wood.

Woodchuck's can chuck wood but they won't. Not they can't, they won't.

    /end rant.

[edited because I left a could where they should have been a would]

    From here I found:

(tho this should be modified, as Bob Dole wouldn't really dole dough, would he? Unless the dough was pork that is...)

There's also Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado:

    Or, in one breath:

The only other bit of the Peter Piper tongue twister I know is:
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

Is apparently the hardest tongue twister in the english language. So I'm told. It's actually not that tough though (I wouldn't try to say it more than once though... :p )

"Sex laxar i en a laxask." I always found that one hard, it means: Six salmons in a salmon box.

Okay, you socalled Monkey Island lovers! Here is the real thing:

guybrush: how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
woodchuck: a woodchuck could chuck no amount of wood since a woodchuck can't chuck wood.
guybrush: but if a woodchuck could chuck and would chuck some amount of wood, what amount of wood would a woodchuck chuck?
woodchuck: even if a woodchuck could chuck wood, and even if a woodchuck would chuck wood, should a woodchuck chuck wood?
guybrush: a woodchuck should chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood, as long as a woodchuck would chuck wood.
    woodchuck: oh. shut up.

    :D

Ce sont soisant-six saucisons (Sorry for spelling. For those who don't know, that was french for 'That are 66 sausages')

    Here is a Dutch one:
De koetsier poetst het roest van de postkoets met postkoetspoets.
Means: The coachman (driver) polishes the rust off the postal coach (mailvan?) with postal-coach-cleanser. (weird translation...)
