Might Jaheira's love-interest relate to rep?

I was testing to see if Jaheira's reactions would be the same upon returning to the party (to bring me to the Harper Hold) if my reputation was 18 versus 16; while 16, she returned to the party with the seemingly more affectionate, "I've missed you. . . that is to say, I missed . . . (etc.)," but, while party rep is 18 (I simply finished two other quests while she was gone, instead of resting), she returns to the party with the seemingly more distant, "Hail there! I said I would return and I have. Sorry to have kept you waiting, but (etc.)."

Upon searching these message boards, I was able to find the following archives that seemed a little relevant, but didn't quite address this particular issue: http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/Forum2/HTML/002097.html http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/Forum2/HTML/001686.html

    Any thoughts, anyone?

Maybe that didn't happen because of reputation.

Are you sure about that, garathorn? It seems to me that until I got the Ring of Human Influence to spruce up my butt-ugliness (Charisma -> 3), Jaheira wouldn't give me the time of day. Afterwards, though she was interested (at least for a while - I supose some bug jacked up my love life).
