Hi all, I am trying to find when Raphael(The Italian painter) was commisioned to paint "saint Michael and Satan", and who commisioned him.
You see, I've been searching the web for a while now, and cant seem to find out anything about this painting besides what it looks like. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Thanks a bunch for putting in your effort to help me, Carcaroth! However, that site is the exact one I found as well, and it doesn't really help much besides show you the picture. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot Arabwel, but I'm mostly just looking for information on the painting itself. Thanks for helping though!
