If you have a cleric that can cast Raise Dead, then cast that on the dead person. If you cannot cast it, go to a temple and pay them to do it for you.

For future reference, if a party member is disintegrated, there is no bringing them back. This is also true if they get turned to stone and then the stone statue is shattered by an attack.

One day you will have to ask us how to bring back someone who has been Imprisoned, and then we will know how far you are in the game. :)

Just a quick note...if they die and their portrait turns grey, they can be raised from the dead...if it sudden;y dissapears, they cannot be raised. The 3 ways of losing an NPC forever (at least until you reload) are: Being turned to stone and having that stone statue broken; taking critical damage (overkill) where the NPC's body gets "chunked"; and finaly, if they get Imprisoned...but there are ways of getting around that one. :rolling:

There's a rod of ressurection that can be bought on the cheap as well in several stores, notably the Adventure Mart.

I know this is a little off subject, but beside the Adventure Mart and the the wizard tower in the sewers under the Temple District where else is there a rod O' Res?

There are only two in the game: one in the Adventurer's Mart and second in the Mekrath's Lair.

You only need one, although having two characters hold them can be handy. They have unlimited charges, provided you sell them to a store and buy them back--just like with all the other wands and rods in the game.

    Once you've used up the charge...sell it to any store...(for 1 gp :p )

Then just buy it back from them...you pay a lot more cash and it will be recharged.

You don't need to buy it back. Steal it! The effect is the same and you don't lose your money.
But if you do that then when you sell it you must sell it to the merchant who buys stolen items. Do this with only one rod(I'm not sure if in ToB is someone who buys stolen items so that you have other rod if isn't).

The rod of ressurection is also pretty useful for the living, as it not only raises, it also heals, and it can be used at range. This means a character who you want to keep out of melee can use it to heal someone in the heat of battle, without having to wade into the fight.
