It's an odd feeling going to the supermarket at 2:30am...I was one of two customers in the entire store. The cashier asked me which school I went to...I guess she figured I was in college or something since I was buying graphing paper, Mt. Dew, and candy.

Good news, it wasn't an infection, just hardened wax. The ear is starting to open ocasionally...

 

Today was not fun. I found out that my housemate's uncle has bought the house that I'm living in, and that it will be possible for me to stay here next year, but the rent will be higher.

He showed up yesterday, and has started converting our dining room, which we use as space when friends come over, into another bedroom and a bathroom. Without warning, he comes in and disrupts a student household and starts renovating space that we do USE!! Argh!

It doesn't help that my room is on the ground floor, not far away from the "dining room". I get to deal with the noise of hammering, drilling, and gods knows what else. This is ridiculous. There are four students in the house, we all need to study. Coming in and disrupting us during the school year is not fun. I find it downright rude.

I'll probably vent some more tomorrow.

Well, if he's a good landlord, he'll get the idea if all the students living there approch him all at the same time and discuss it with him....there's no way in hell that he'd kick all of you guys out.

 

Yeah right. Do you know how hard a good place in the city is to come by? He'd kick them out and have new tenants in a heartbeat.

@Lai: that sux, you should tell him to do it when your out of the building or you wont bother to pay the rent... I hate it when people dont consider others like that, grrr!

Im still looking for somwhere to live as it is getting to be quite difficult now, I turned down the job that was offered to me last week as for some strange reason I was offered a contract by my company which means I can stop being an agency worker! WAHOO!! bit more money, better holiday pay and sick pay with oppurtunities for bonuses...

...now all I have to do is pry myself away from SP and BG so I can get my ass into gear and start to pack up the stuff in my flat...

Okay, now I have a massive headache. At 7 a.m. the guy was working on the place. 7 AM! And here I am, trying to sleep, and not succeeding very much as he was hammering away.

Add to that, he's going to be coming in every Sunday-Tuesday for the next little bit, trying to get everything done. It's such an imposition on our lives, having this happen during the damned school year. One of my housemates doesn't feel comfortable having her boyfriend over while the new landlord is around. I had been planning on having a mini-potluck dinner, using the dining room. I can't do that now, since we no longer have it.

Sorry, I just really find this frustrating. We got very little warning about what was happening, and having this disrupt our study habits and patterns is driving me . It's times like this that I really need .

 

Well the presentation was good, but I'm afraid I can't say the same about the application were the presentation was about. The documentation lookt nice though so 2 out of 3 aint that bad!

SNOWDAY!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!! OI!!!!!! No school today because it was -37 degrees celcius with the windchill. I've work to do, but that can wait untill later. Right now I feel like contemplating and reading.

Oh! Almost forgot, the other day this guy who's really into the dramatic arts and acting; saw this movie I made for one of my classes and said that I had talent in acting, and that I should've taken drama classes and consider pursuing it. The problem is that I haven't taken any drama courses and if I want to I'll probably have to stay for a semester or two which I don't want to do. But, I'll likely try for the school musical if I can to see if I enjoy acting.

Yay. . . 3.5 more hours till I can go climbing. :-D

 

@chev you may be right, I guess I'll find out sooner or later. I can't think of any girl that would like me, mostly because I tend to be buried with my face in a book, a good game, SP or writting something.

@Arabwel you cooked? I only ask because I remember your post about burning eggs that you set to boil and calling yourself the Queen of Disastres Cooking.

I don't know why Iwent to school today. Only two hours with our math teacher(who finnaly realized nobody listens to what he has to say, he still kept talking with that ultra bored voice of his) and then the other 2 teachers didn't come to teach us. This is not school it's a bad joke.

Oh and Kelvon has family problems, his parents won't talk to him and all.

 

@Lai - ugh, sounds like a horrible situation. Are you able to relax sufficiently when this isn't going on?

@Lord Garak - not any more. It seems there was a bad connection where the cable joined the mouse, due to a constant pulling at an angle. I've fished out a replacement, which is working fine.

Yes, I cooked - I am actually pretty damn good cook when i I remember what I am doing

 

Just wrote a very disturbing story, I don't think I can ever post it here, but at least it took away a burning feeling inside!
